I'm recently laid off, open to all possibilities, getting advertised these things every minute, and vaguely enjoying the free part, which always has some nugget of truth about how to be positive and maybe even how to make money in this world. I've recognized this pattern to a point (teaching others to teach others to teach others...) but I was still so tempted! This article says it so well, and I'm saving it to remind myself the next time I think, "but it works for them!"
